A MYSTERIOUS huge green fireball is captured in this footage shooting across the night sky in Japan on Monday.
The bizarre object was filmed soaring through the clouds for around 15 seconds before disappearing.

Mystery surrounds the exact nature of the spectacular orb after it appeared in the early hours of Halloween.
Japan’s national public broadcasting organisation, NHK, caught the scene on cameras near Niigata City at around 5.30am.
Theories suggest it could have been a comet or piece of asteroid pierced through the Earth’s atmosphere or even falling rocket debris, according to the National Astronomical Observatory.
Officials have said this is a very rare event, reported Rocket News 24.

However the observatory has reported the phenomenon at other locations around Japan including Kanagawa, Chiba, Akita, and Iwate.
No debris from the mystery objects has been recovered.
ᴀssociate Professor Hidehiko Agata from Japan’s National Astronomical Observatory told local media, “If this was a fireball it is an extremely bright example. It’s possible that it was breaking apart while sparkling in the sky, which is an extremely rare phenomenon.”

Scott C Waring of UFO Sightings Daily believes the object was extra-terrestrial.
He said on his website: “This UFO tried to disguise itself as a green glowing meteor over Japan yesterday, however it made amateurish mistakes.
“First its glowing a colour most meteors don’t glow. Second it’s performing horizontal mambo and meteorites do not fly horizontally while that low to the planet. Gravity would have pulled it down.”
He also claimed that the “ship” turned off its glow for an extremely brief period and a “silver disk came out”.
