Mia Goth Files for Divorce From Shia LaBeouf

Actress Mia Goth has filed for divorce from Shia LaBeouf nearly 10 years after the couple married, formally ending a relationship that has gone through years of breakups and reconciliation.

Divorce Papers Filed in Los Angeles

Goth, 32, filed a petition in Los Angeles County Superior Court on October 6, citing irreconcilable differences. The documents list July 28, 2025, as the date the couple separated.

The Couple Had Been Together for More Than a Decade

Goth and LaBeouf met while working on the film Nymphomaniac: Vol. II in 2012. They married in 2016 after an on-and-off relationship and later reunited following a reported split in 2018.

They welcomed their daughter, Isabel, in 2022.

Goth Seeks Primary Custody of Their Daughter

In her divorce petition, Goth is asking for primary legal and physical custody of their four-year-old daughter, while requesting visitation rights for LaBeouf.

She has also asked the court to end the possibility of either spouse receiving spousal support.

The Split Comes After a Difficult Period

The divorce filing comes after a turbulent period for LaBeouf, including a February 2026 arrest in New Orleans following a confrontation during Mardi Gras. He later pleaded guilty to battery charges.

The couple’s legal separation, however, dates back to July 2025, months before that incident.

A Chapter Now Moves to Court

Goth’s filing turns a relationship that has long attracted public attention into a formal legal separation. The custody of their young daughter is expected to be one of the central issues as the divorce proceeds.
