Elizabeth Holmes’ Two Children: The Untold Story of Family Life Behind Bars
Elizabeth Holmes’ Two Children: What to Know About William and Invicta

Elizabeth Holmes, the former Theranos founder convicted of defrauding investors, has a family life that has unfolded alongside one of Silicon Valley’s most widely followed criminal cases.
Holmes and her partner, Billy Evans, have two children: a son named William and a daughter named Invicta. Their son was born in July 2021, shortly before Holmes’ criminal trial began. Their daughter was born in early 2023, only months before Holmes reported to federal prison.
Holmes’ pregnancies became part of the public discussion surrounding her trial and sentencing. Some observers questioned the timing, while Holmes maintained that becoming a mother was a genuine personal wish rather than a legal strategy.
In January 2022, Holmes was convicted of defrauding investors in connection with Theranos, the blood-testing company she founded. She was sentenced to more than 11 years in prison in November 2022 and began serving her sentence in May 2023.

Since entering prison, Holmes has spoken about the emotional difficulty of being separated from her children. Family visits have allowed them to maintain contact, although she has described the experience as painful.
Despite the public attention surrounding their mother, William and Invicta have largely remained out of the spotlight. Their story highlights a personal dimension of a case that has primarily been known for its business promises, fraud convictions and legal consequences.
