For the first time since Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial ended in a mistrial, Patrick Clancy sat down with 60 Minutes to speak about the loss of his three children, the events surrounding their deaths and the life he has been trying to rebuild. 💔

Patrick spoke openly about his former wife’s mental health struggles, saying he believes her illness played a major role in what happened. He also explained why he chose to forgive her and why he wants people to focus on the lives of Cora, Dawson and Callan, rather than the online theories surrounding the case. 💙

But the interview also left some viewers with unanswered questions.

Among the issues discussed publicly are what Patrick knew about Lindsay’s worsening mental health before the tragedy, details surrounding her treatment, and questions that remain relevant if prosecutors decide to retry the case. The September 4 trial ended with a hung jury, leaving the case unresolved. Prosecutors have not yet announced whether Lindsay will face another trial.
