PART 2 — THE FIRST WIFE WAS STILL ALIVE

Alexander’s first wife was named Eleanor.

Three years earlier, her car had been found at the bottom of a ravine, but her body was never recovered.

The family doctor claimed dental records confirmed her death.

Now those records were proven false.

Police searched a private clinic owned by the doctor and found Eleanor locked inside an upstairs room.

She was weak, but alive—and seven months pregnant.

Vanessa had used Eleanor’s ultrasound images while pretending the baby was hers.

Alexander stared at Eleanor through the hospital glass.

“Is the baby mine?” he asked.

Eleanor shook her head.

“Vanessa’s sister paid the doctor to keep me hidden. They needed my child to complete the inheritance fraud.”

Before she could explain more, the doctor tried to destroy a sealed medical file.

Inside was a DNA report.

The unborn baby’s father was not Alexander.

It was Alexander’s younger brother—the man scheduled to take control of the company if Alexander lost his heir.
