Princess Andre Breaks Down After Terrifying Taxi Incident Reawakens Childhood Nightmare During Celebrity Race

Princess Andre has suffered an emotional flashback during the BBC’s Celebrity Race Across the World after a seemingly ordinary taxi journey brought back memories of a terrifying armed carjacking she experienced as a child.

The 19-year-old was travelling through Borneo with her older brother, Junior Andre, 21, when an unexpected incident involving their taxi left her visibly frightened.

The siblings had decided to share a taxi during one leg of the competition. But when the vehicle suddenly pulled over and the driver stepped outside, Princess became increasingly distressed.

The moment reminded her of a horrifying incident in South Africa in 2018, when she was just 10 years old.

At the time, Princess was travelling with her mother, Katie Price, and brother Junior when six armed men allegedly surrounded their vehicle at a petrol station. The attackers reportedly used a baseball bat to smash the car windows while threatening the family with guns.

Princess recalled how the men demanded that her mother hand over the children, threatening to shoot them if she refused.

She and Junior were sitting in the back of the vehicle, crying and fearing for their lives.

Speaking during the programme, Princess described the terrifying memories that came rushing back.

She explained that the sudden movements around the taxi and the driver getting out in the dark reminded her of the earlier attack.

Although she believed she had largely moved on from the experience, the unexpected situation left her heart racing and made it difficult for her to breathe.

“I honestly did think I was going to die,” she recalled while describing the 2018 ordeal.

Junior quickly recognized that his sister was struggling and tried to reassure her. He comforted her with a hug and reminded her that they were safe.

The singer later explained that the traumatic experience had affected the siblings differently. While he felt it had made him stronger, he believed Princess had struggled with its effects for years.

The 2018 incident was particularly devastating for their mother. Katie Price previously revealed that she had been sexually assaulted during the attack, while her children were nearby. She has spoken publicly about the lasting impact the ordeal had on her life.

For Princess, the latest incident demonstrated that memories of the frightening night had not completely disappeared, even years later.

Her emotional reaction has offered viewers a rare glimpse into the personal challenges behind the siblings’ adventure on Celebrity Race Across the World.

Despite the distressing moment, Princess continued the journey alongside Junior, who remained by her side as they travelled across Borneo.
