THE GROOM KISSED THE WRONG WOMAN AT HIS WEDDING – THEN HIS BRIDE KISSED THE COWBOY BEST MAN

PART 1: THE KISS THAT STOPPED THE WEDDING

“IF YOU CAN KISS YOUR EX AT OUR WEDDING, THEN WATCH ME KISS THE MAN YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN AFRAID OF.”

Emily Bennett never imagined her wedding day would end with her kissing her husband’s best friend.

But when Travis Blackwood kissed his ex-girlfriend in front of 200 guests, something inside Emily finally broke.

The wedding reception at Blackwood Ranch in Texas had been perfect.

Until Travis got drunk.

He pulled his ex-girlfriend Vanessa close, whispered something in her ear, and kissed her passionately in front of everyone.

The music stopped.

Emily’s mother gasped.

And Travis simply laughed.

“Relax, sweetheart. It’s just a kiss.”

Emily stared at him.

Then she turned toward Daniel Hayes, the handsome cowboy standing beside her husband.

“Daniel, would you help me prove something?”

Before anyone could react, Emily grabbed Daniel’s jacket and kissed him.

And Daniel kissed her back.

Travis exploded.

“THAT’S MY WIFE!”

Emily smiled coldly.

“Relax, sweetheart. It’s just a kiss.”

But the worst betrayal was still coming.

One of Travis’s drunken friends suddenly shouted:

“Tell her about the five-thousand-dollar bet!”

Emily froze.

“What bet?”

The man laughed nervously.

“Travis bet us five thousand dollars that you’d never leave him. Even if he kissed Vanessa right in front of you.”

Emily felt sick.

Her humiliation hadn’t been an accident.

It had been a game.

She turned toward Daniel.

“You knew?”

His silence answered everything.

But then Daniel reached inside his jacket and pulled out an old envelope.

“Emily, there’s something I’ve kept from you for ten years.”

Travis suddenly went pale.

“DANIEL, DON’T!”

Emily looked down at the envelope.

The handwriting belonged to her father.

Her father who had died ten years earlier.

And written across the front were six words:

“TO EMILY. THE TRUTH ABOUT THAT NIGHT.”

Daniel had secretly loved Emily for ten years.

But whatever was inside that envelope was the reason he had never told her.

And Travis looked absolutely terrified that she was about to find out.
