16-Year-Old Sentenced to 20 Years After Fatally Shooting His 30-Year-Old Sister

A 16-year-old boy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after fatally shooting his older sister during a family dispute in June 2025, according to PEOPLE.
Hezile Frison was sentenced after pleading guilty to first-degree reckless homicide in the death of his 30-year-old sister, Ashley Hudson. The sentence also includes 10 years of extended supervision following his prison term.
According to court records cited in reports, the confrontation involved several family members and reportedly began over a social media post. During the altercation, another person allegedly struck Hudson with a baseball bat. Hudson then reportedly went to her vehicle and retrieved a knife before Frison shot her in the chest.
The incident was captured on video, which later became part of the case. During sentencing, the judge addressed the seriousness of the killing and the lasting impact on the victim’s family.
Two other family members also faced legal consequences connected to the incident. Frison’s older sister, Aaliyah J. Frison, received a prison sentence and supervision after pleading guilty to aggravated battery, while their mother, Tara T. Hudson, was sentenced in a separate case involving obstruction-related conduct.
The case highlights how a family argument can escalate into irreversible violence, leaving relatives to cope with the loss of a loved one and the consequences of the criminal proceedings.
