Diddy Prison Fight Rumors Take a Dramatic Turn as Officials Reject Claims Involving Jamaican Drug Lord

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been at the center of fresh prison controversy after reports claimed he was injured in a confrontation with fellow inmate Christopher “Dudus” Coke, a convicted Jamaican drug lord. But the story took an unexpected turn when federal prison officials publicly denied that the alleged fight ever happened.
According to a report initially published by TMZ on October 14, multiple unnamed sources claimed Combs suffered a head injury during an altercation with Coke at the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix in New Jersey. The report alleged that the dispute followed a crackdown on contraband inside the facility after media coverage raised questions about Combs’ reported lifestyle behind bars.
TMZ also claimed Combs was taken to an outside medical facility for treatment before returning to prison. However, the details surrounding the reported injury and its cause have not been independently established.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons later issued a direct denial. A spokesperson told the Daily Mail that the story about the alleged altercation was “false and did not happen,” while confirming that Combs remained in federal custody at Fort Dix. The agency did not provide further details about his medical status.
Combs’ representative also said the team had no verified information confirming that he had been attacked by Coke or anyone else. Reports of a fight have likewise been disputed by members of Coke’s family.

Coke, widely known as “Dudus,” is a convicted Jamaican drug trafficker who was sentenced to 23 years in prison after pleading guilty to federal charges. His criminal history and former leadership of the Shower Posse have made him a prominent figure in coverage of the disputed allegations.
The reports have drawn additional attention because they followed scrutiny of Combs’ alleged treatment and access to prohibited items in prison. Those claims have circulated in separate media reports, while Combs’ representatives have challenged the portrayal of his life behind bars.
For now, the central claim—that Combs fought with Coke and sustained a head injury as a result—remains disputed. Prison officials have denied that the confrontation occurred, and no independently verified account has established what caused the reported injury.
