Alexander Brothers Sentenced to 30 Years Each as Victims Describe Years of Sexual Abuse and Humiliation

Three wealthy brothers who once moved in elite real estate circles have each been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison after being convicted of sex trafficking and other sexual offenses. Their sentencing hearing in New York was marked by emotional testimony from women who described the lasting impact of the abuse they said they suffered.

Tal, Oren and Alon Alexander received their sentences on October 27, 2026, in Manhattan federal court. The brothers were convicted in March following a six-week trial involving allegations that they used their wealth, connections and access to luxury destinations to lure women into situations where they were sexually assaulted.

Prosecutors said the scheme spanned years and involved numerous women, some of whom alleged they had been drugged before being raped. More than 70 women have been identified by prosecutors as alleged victims, and 11 women addressed the court during the sentencing proceedings.

One woman described the lasting psychological toll of the assault, telling the court that the experience had changed the person she might otherwise have become. Another spoke about the fear and nightmares she continued to experience long after the alleged attack.

Lindsey Acree, an artist and gallery owner who testified during the trial, directly challenged the brothers over the harm she said they had caused. She questioned why they had acted with such cruelty and said the punishment sought by prosecutors still could not fully account for the damage suffered by survivors.

The brothers also addressed the court before sentencing. They expressed regret for aspects of their past behavior toward women, but denied drugging, raping or trafficking anyone. Their lawyers had sought sentences of 15 years, arguing for a substantially lower punishment than the life sentences requested by prosecutors.

U.S. District Judge Valerie Caproni rejected the defense’s arguments for leniency and sentenced each brother to 30 years in prison. The judge described their conduct as “monstrous” and questioned their claims that marriage and fatherhood reflected meaningful rehabilitation.

Tal and Oren Alexander had built prominent careers in luxury real estate, representing wealthy clients and high-end properties. Their brother Alon worked in the family’s private security business. Prosecutors argued that the brothers exploited their status and resources to gain access to women and facilitate the assaults.

The case drew widespread attention because of the brothers’ former public profiles and the number of women who came forward. For survivors who testified, the sentencing marked a significant moment after years of carrying the consequences of their experiences.

The three men are now facing decades behind bars. Their convictions and sentences mark a major development in a case that exposed allegations of sexual abuse behind a lifestyle associated with wealth, exclusive parties and luxury travel.
