BOOTLE, UK — The family of a mother and her three children who died in a house fire in Bootle have paid tribute to them, describing the loss as “devastating” and saying their deaths have left the family heartbroken.

Elisha Brabin, 36, and her three children, Leo, 16, Ellis, 8, and Prudence, 7, died on Tuesday, September 22, following a fire at their home on Stone Square in Bootle.

In a statement released by the family, relatives described Elisha as a devoted mother who lived for her children and said the three children had brought enormous joy, laughter and happiness to their lives.

“Our whole family is devastated by the loss of Elisha, Leo, Ellis and Prudence,” the family said.

They described Elisha as a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, niece and cousin, adding that her children “were her whole world” and that she meant everything to those who knew her.

The family also remembered Leo, Ellis and Prudence as children who were “loved beyond measure” and who filled their lives with laughter and precious memories that they would cherish forever.

“The tragic loss of Elisha and our three precious children has left us heartbroken,” the family said. “They have all been taken from us far too soon.”
