Influencer “Clavicular” Charged With Rape of 17-Year-Old Girl

Social media influencer Braden Peters, known online as “Clavicular,” has been charged with rape and related offenses in Massachusetts after a 17-year-old girl told police she was heavily intoxicated before an alleged sexual assault at his family’s home.

Peters, 20, faces charges of rape, administering a substance for sexual intercourse, and providing alcohol to a person under 21, according to Massachusetts court records. A clerk-magistrate found probable cause for the charges on September 4, and a criminal complaint was issued on September 8.

Allegations Date Back to May 2025
According to police records cited by The Associated Press, the girl said she first communicated with Peters through Instagram. She later appeared in livestreamed videos connected to the “looksmaxxing” trend, an online movement focused on improving physical appearance.

The teenager told investigators that Peters knew she was 17 but instructed her to tell viewers that she was 18. She also alleged that he gave her vodka while they were at his family’s home in Chatham on Cape Cod on May 23, 2025.

She told police that she became increasingly intoxicated during the evening. Investigators also reviewed portions of a livestream from that night, according to court documents reported by AP.

The girl alleged that after the livestream ended, she went to Peters’ bedroom and later woke up to a sexual assault.

Peters Has Not Been Arrested
Peters is not currently in custody. He has been ordered to appear in Orleans District Court on October 14 for an arraignment.

A representative for Peters has disputed the allegations. Peters has previously denied allegations made against him in a separate civil lawsuit involving the same teenager.

Because the criminal case is ongoing, the allegations have not been proven in court.

Influencer Behind “Looksmaxxing”
Peters became widely known online under the name “Clavicular” through livestreams and content centered on “looksmaxxing,” a trend involving efforts to change or enhance physical appearance.

His content has attracted a large online following, particularly on platforms including TikTok, Instagram and Kick. The trend has also drawn concern from health and mental-health experts over extreme methods promoted by some participants.

The Massachusetts case adds to a series of legal issues involving Peters this year. Earlier cases in Florida included allegations involving an altercation and an incident involving a firearm and a dead alligator. Some of those matters were later dropped, while Peters received probation in the alligator-shooting case after pleading no contest.

Peters is scheduled to appear in court on October 14, when the Massachusetts case is expected to move forward.
