🥺💙 16 CHILDREN WERE REMOVED FROM THEIR HOME — AND THEIR MOTHER NOW FACES COURT 🕊️

When authorities entered a home in Hamden, Ohio, in June, they found 16 children ranging from about 17 months to 18 years old living in extremely poor conditions. The children were removed from the home and placed under state care. 💔

Their mother, Elizabeth Siders, 34, has pleaded not guilty to multiple child-endangerment charges. She also pleaded not guilty to separate charges involving the alleged sexual abuse of a young relative. The allegations have not been proven in court.

During her recent court appearance, Elizabeth’s attorney said she continues to ask about her children by name and worries about their wellbeing. He has also requested a competency evaluation, raising concerns about her ability to understand the legal proceedings. 🌷

Reports that Elizabeth may be pregnant again have circulated after she appeared in court holding her abdomen, but her attorney has declined to confirm or discuss the matter publicly.

The case has raised difficult questions about how the children remained largely isolated from the wider community for so long. Court records also indicate that some of the children had significant school absences in previous years.

For now, the children are away from the home, while the legal process continues.
