Celebrity Traitors 2 Cast: The Big Names, Surprise Players and Dark Horses
The Celebrity Traitors is returning for a second season, bringing 21 new famous faces to the castle for another round of secret alliances, deception and dramatic round-table accusations. The new series begins on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on October 1, 2026.
This year’s cast features a mix of actors, comedians, broadcasters, musicians, sporting personalities and online creators. Among the biggest names are Michael Sheen, Richard E. Grant, Jerry Hall, Maya Jama, Ross Kemp and James Blunt.
The comedy contingent is particularly strong. James Acaster, Joe Lycett, Romesh Ranganathan, Rob Beckett, Miranda Hart and Joanne McNally will all enter the castle. Their experience performing in front of audiences could make them difficult to read, especially when the game requires contestants to hide their true intentions.
There are also several contestants who may attract less immediate attention. The Last of Us star Bella Ramsey, former Little Mix member Leigh-Anne Pinnock and mathematician and broadcaster Hannah Fry bring very different backgrounds to the competition. Industry actress Myha’la, Coronation Street star Julie Hesmondhalgh, Sharon Rooney, Sebastian Croft and YouTuber King Kenny complete the lineup.
Michael Sheen and Richard E. Grant bring considerable acting experience, while Amol Rajan arrives with years of experience as an interviewer and broadcaster. Rajan has said he plans to avoid immediately presenting himself as an investigator and instead focus on building relationships inside the castle.
The contestants will compete as Faithfuls or Traitors, with up to £100,000 available for their chosen charities. The format will once again require players to identify the hidden Traitors while trying to avoid becoming targets themselves.
With such a varied cast, the new series promises a mixture of familiar television personalities, major acting names and less obvious contestants. The real identities of the Traitors will only become clear once the game begins, leaving viewers to decide for themselves who can be trusted.
