Arizona Fiancé Accused of Hiring Stranger on Reddit to Sexually Assault His Partner While She Cared for Their Children

A mother of two was allegedly targeted in a horrifying planned attack after police discovered messages suggesting that her own fiancé had recruited a stranger online to sexually assault her inside their family home.

Bella Torres was at her home in Buckeye, Arizona, on October 16, 2026, caring for her two young children when an unfamiliar man allegedly forced his way inside and attacked her.

The intruder was identified as 20-year-old Adrian Ayala. According to police and court documents, he allegedly grabbed Torres by the neck, attempted to remove her clothing and sexually assaulted her. During the struggle, he also allegedly kicked her 17-month-old daughter, causing the toddler to fall and hit her head against a baby gate.

Torres fought back, managing to escape the house and confront the attacker outside. Surveillance footage captured the dramatic confrontation as she tried to keep him away from her.

During the encounter, Ayala reportedly told her that her boyfriend had sent him and claimed they had met through Reddit. Torres initially struggled to believe what he was saying.

Police arrested Ayala the following day at his home in Goodyear. The investigation then took an even more disturbing turn when detectives examined electronic devices belonging to both men.

Investigators said they discovered Reddit communications allegedly showing that Torres’ fiancé, 23-year-old Zarian Dyer, had discussed and planned the attack with Ayala.

According to court documents, Dyer allegedly asked Ayala whether he was willing to sexually assault his fiancée and instructed him to proceed even if she resisted. Prosecutors also alleged that Dyer deliberately left the home to buy groceries, giving Ayala an opportunity to approach Torres while she was alone with the children.

Some of the alleged messages included claims by Dyer that he had permission to arrange the assault because he considered his fiancée’s body his property.

Dyer initially denied involvement when questioned by investigators. However, police said evidence recovered from the devices contradicted his account.

He was arrested at his workplace on October 29 and faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault, sexual abuse, attempted sexual assault, kidnapping and conspiracy. His bond was set at $500,000.

Ayala also faces criminal charges connected to the incident. His attorney has argued that he believed the encounter was supposed to be consensual role-play arranged by Dyer. Torres has firmly denied consenting to the attack.

Investigators have not established a motive for the alleged plot.

The case has shocked the local community, particularly because the alleged attack took place while Torres was looking after her two very young children. Police described the incident as terrifying and said investigators worked to gather the evidence needed to hold those responsible accountable.

Both defendants are entitled to the presumption of innocence unless proven guilty in court.
