Four Hidden Heirs PART 2 — THE SECRET BEHIND THE TRIPLETS

Four Hidden Heirs
PART 2 — THE SECRET BEHIND THE TRIPLETS
“Vanessa,” I repeated, looking directly at her. “I think everyone deserves to know the truth.”
Julian was still holding the DNA report. His fingers trembled as he stared at the four children standing beside me.
“You’re telling me I’m their father?” he asked.
“That’s exactly what the report says.”
He crouched slightly, trying to look at Noah and Ethan.
“How old are they?”
“Almost two.”
His expression changed.
“Two years…” He slowly stood up. “Evelyn, you knew about them when we divorced?”
I nodded.
“I found out the morning after you signed the divorce papers.”
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
I looked at him quietly.
“Would you have listened? You couldn’t even look at me when your father paid me twelve million dollars to disappear.”
Julian opened his mouth, but no words came out.
Suddenly, Richard stepped forward.
“This is ridiculous. We need to discuss this privately. Those children are Whitmores, and their future must be protected.”
I gave him a cold smile.
“Funny. Two years ago, you paid twelve million dollars to make sure I would never be part of your family again. Now you’re suddenly interested in protecting my children?”
Margaret approached the twins and little girls.
“Oh, they’re beautiful,” she whispered, tears gathering in her eyes. “Julian, they look just like you.”
Before anyone could respond, Vanessa dropped her bouquet.
“You’re all making a mistake!” she shouted.
Everyone turned toward her.
“Those DNA results don’t change anything! Julian is the father of my boys!”
Richard frowned.
“Nobody has questioned that, Vanessa.”
But Vanessa was already panicking.
I reached into my handbag and removed another envelope.
“Actually, that’s why I’m here.”
I handed it to Richard.
Inside were copies of several financial records and a report from a private investigator Rachel had helped me hire.
Richard scanned the first page.
His face became increasingly pale.
“What is this?”
“Records showing that Vanessa was secretly involved with another man during the period when her triplets were conceived.”
Julian slowly turned toward his bride.
“What is she talking about?”
Vanessa shook her head.
“She’s lying! She’s trying to destroy my wedding!”
I continued calmly.
“His name is Daniel Carter. He was Vanessa’s personal trainer before she became pregnant. According to these records, they maintained a relationship for months.”
“Stop!” Vanessa screamed.
Richard looked at her.
“Vanessa, is this true?”
She began crying.
“I made a mistake! But I love Julian!”
Julian stepped away from her.
“Are my sons mine?”
Vanessa said nothing.
For several seconds, the entire garden was silent.
Then Julian removed the wedding ring he had just placed on her finger.
“Cancel the wedding.”
Richard immediately called his attorneys.
But Vanessa wasn’t finished.
She pointed at me furiously.
“You planned this! You waited until my wedding day because you wanted revenge!”
I looked at my four children.
“No. I simply wanted my children to know their father. Your wedding was your choice of timing, not mine.”
Then I took Noah’s hand.
“Come on, sweetheart. We’re leaving.”
But Julian stepped in front of me.
“Evelyn, please. Don’t go. I need time with my children.”
I looked into his eyes.
“You had two years to wonder where I went. You never once tried to find me.”
“I didn’t know!”
“Exactly. You didn’t know because you never cared enough to ask.”
I walked past him.
This time, however, someone followed us.
Margaret.
“Evelyn, please,” she whispered. “Let me see my grandchildren again.”
I stopped.
I wasn’t going to punish four innocent children for the mistakes of their father.
“We can arrange that,” I replied. “But everything will be on my children’s terms.”
And I left the Whitmore estate without looking back.
Behind me, the wedding that had cost millions of dollars had completely collapsed.
But the biggest shock was still waiting for the Whitmore family.
