Man Arrested, Two Suspects Still Wanted After Fatal Bulldog Lane Shooting in Fresno
FRESNO, California — September 19, 2026

A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old boy in Fresno, California, while two other suspects remain at large, police said.

The shooting happened Saturday night, September 12, at an apartment complex near Ninth Street and Bulldog Lane, close to Valley Children’s Stadium. The teenage victim was shot multiple times and later died at a hospital.

Suspect Arrested
Fresno police identified the arrested suspect as 20-year-old London West of Fresno.

Police said West was arrested Thursday and booked into the Fresno County Jail on suspicion of murder in connection with the teenager’s death.

Authorities have not publicly released a detailed motive for the shooting.

Two Suspects Remain on the Run
Detectives have also identified two additional suspects:

Denim McVey, 18
Jaheim Packard, 16
Both are wanted in connection with the killing and remain at large, according to police. Authorities are asking anyone who knows where they are or has information about the shooting to contact investigators.

Because one of the suspects is 16, authorities may have additional restrictions on what information can be publicly released about him.

Masked Suspects Seen Before Shooting
Earlier in the investigation, doorbell-camera footage showed two people wearing black masks approaching an apartment door shortly before the shooting.

The pair appeared to realize they had gone to the wrong residence before turning around. Moments later, multiple gunshots were heard at another apartment nearby. Neighbors reported hearing numerous rounds.

Police have continued reviewing surveillance footage and other evidence to determine exactly what led to the fatal shooting.

Investigation Continues
The victim was identified by Fresno police as a 17-year-old male juvenile from Fresno. His name has not been publicly released.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Fresno Police Department Homicide Unit or Valley Crime Stoppers. Police are asking members of the public not to approach the suspects if they are spotted.

London West, Denim McVey and Jaheim Packard are accused in connection with the case and are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
