The investigation surrounding a Philadelphia home linked to multiple missing women has taken another major turn after detectives uncovered additional images that appear to show two more women unconscious or deceased inside the property.

The discovery brings the number of women believed to be dead in connection with the West Chew Avenue house to five, while seven missing women in total have now been linked to the ongoing investigation. Police say no human remains have been recovered, so investigators are still working to establish exactly what happened to each woman.

The latest evidence emerged as Philadelphia police and federal investigators continued examining a staggering archive of more than one million photos, videos and other digital files associated with the home where Raymond “R.C.” Horsch and his son Eugene Horsch lived. Authorities say only about 30% of the material has been reviewed so far, meaning the investigation could still uncover additional people or previously unknown incidents.

Among the latest discoveries, investigators said images show a 25-year-old Philadelphia woman unconscious and visibly injured inside the residence. Her identity has not been publicly released at her family’s request. Another unidentified woman, believed to have been in her mid-20s, also appears lifeless and injured in recovered images.

Police have now identified 58 people appearing in the materials reviewed so far. Five women appear to have died, 10 others later died from overdoses elsewhere, 16 people have been interviewed alive, and investigators are still attempting to locate another 25 individuals.

The evidence also includes disturbing video that police say appears to show Raymond Horsch restraining and strangling a woman until she lost consciousness. A relative identified the woman as Nicole Fusaro, who disappeared in 2018. Other missing women connected to the investigation include Gabrielle Amarando, Maribel Fresses, Amy McHale and Blair Tonzelli.

Investigators are facing a particularly difficult challenge because some of the recovered material apparently depicts staged violence, while other footage may document real crimes. Authorities say each image and video must therefore be authenticated and compared with missing-person records, witness statements and other evidence before conclusions can be reached.
