Singapore Airlines takes the top position in the 2026 Skytrax ranking, followed by Cathay Pacific, Qatar Airways, EVA Air and ANA All Nippon Airways.
Singapore Airlines’ economy cabins are particularly recognised for their overall experience, with the airline also receiving the award for the world’s best economy-class onboard catering. Its combination of meals, cabin service and seating has helped establish a strong reputation among long-haul travellers.
Cathay Pacific comes second, offering passengers a focus on comfort and service. Its economy product includes thoughtfully designed seating and an entertainment system intended to make longer journeys more comfortable.
Qatar Airways, ranked third, is another major long-haul carrier recognised for its economy offering. The airline also received the award for the best economy class in the Middle East, while its onboard Wi-Fi was named the world’s best.
EVA Air takes fourth place, with its economy experience benefiting from comfortable cabin features and a strong food offering. The airline ranked second for economy-class catering in the 2026 awards.
ANA completes the top five. The Japanese carrier is also recognised for its economy seats, which placed fifth globally in the separate seat category.
