Three-Year-Old Boy in Sikkim Delivers Milk Before School to Help His Mother

A three-year-old boy in Sikkim has attracted widespread attention after a video showed him delivering fresh milk to villagers every morning before going to school.

The young boy helps his mother with the family’s daily milk deliveries while his father works away from home. Despite his young age, he regularly walks along rocky and slippery paths carrying milk bottles to nearby homes.

A Morning Routine Before School

According to reports cited by The Economic Times, the boy has made the deliveries part of his daily routine. Carrying the bottles can be difficult for him, but he continues making the rounds before heading to school.

His mother works hard to support the family, while his father is away for work much of the time. The boy’s small contribution has become a way for him to help reduce his mother’s workload.

Teacher Captures the Moment

One morning, his teacher, Nimkipu Lepcha, saw him arriving with a milk bottle during heavy rain.

Lepcha recorded a video of the encounter and later shared it on Instagram. The video showed the boy carrying the bottle in his bag as he walked toward his teacher.

She welcomed him inside, took the milk bottle and gave him chocolate. She also surprised him with a Spider-Man toy, bringing a big smile to the child’s face.

The Little Milkman

The video quickly attracted attention online, and the boy became known as the “Little Milkman” of Sikkim.

People who saw the video reportedly offered to help the family by providing school bags, clothes, toys and financial support.

The story has drawn attention not because of a major event, but because of an ordinary morning routine that shows how one very young child has become involved in helping his family.
