Jane Adetoro, 36, Christina Walters, 32, and Rebecca Walters, 31, were three sisters from Uxbridge whose lives came to a tragic end off Brighton beach in May. 💔

A post-mortem examination confirmed that all three died by drowning. After months of investigation, Sussex Police said they found no evidence of criminality or third-party involvement. The case now moves forward through the coroner’s inquest, which will examine where, when and how the sisters died.

Investigators reviewed hundreds of hours of CCTV, gathered witness statements and traced the sisters’ final movements. Police established that they had been dropped off by taxi at Madeira Drive the previous evening. Their reasons for entering the water remain a matter for the inquest.

Their father, Joseph, remembered his daughters as his joy, strength and the light of his family. 🌷💗 He has asked that their memories remain close to the hearts of everyone who loved them.
