Philadelphia Missing Women Investigation: DNA Found at R.C. Horsch’s Former Home

Philadelphia Investigation: 7 Missing Women Linked to Late Photographer’s Home, 5 Feared Dead

A disturbing investigation in Philadelphia has taken a new turn after authorities reportedly discovered human DNA inside a house connected to seven missing women. Investigators are now working to determine whether the evidence could help explain what happened to the women, five of whom are believed to have died.

The property in the city’s Olney neighborhood once belonged to Raymond “R.C.” Horsch, a filmmaker and erotic photographer who died in 2025. His son, Eugene Horsch, 44, later lived at the home and was arrested in June 2026 on separate drug and weapons charges.

During searches of the property, authorities reportedly recovered more than one million digital images and videos featuring 58 individuals. Among the people identified in the files were seven women who had been reported missing. Investigators said some images appeared to show women who were lifeless or seriously injured, while other footage may provide clues about what happened to them.

The women identified in reports include Blair Tonzelli, Amy McHale, Maribel Fresses, Gabrielle Amarando and Nicole Fusaro. Their cases span several years, and investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding their disappearances.

The latest development came after investigators reportedly used luminol, a substance that can reveal traces of blood, during their search of the property. Human DNA was subsequently discovered and is now undergoing further analysis, according to PEOPLE’s October 13 report.

Despite the disturbing findings, authorities have not recovered human remains from the property, and no homicide charges have been filed in connection with the women’s suspected deaths. Investigators have also cautioned that some of the material depicts staged violence, making it necessary to establish which images document real events.

The investigation remains ongoing, with law enforcement continuing to examine the digital evidence and pursue leads that could bring answers to the missing women’s families.

For those families, the central question remains unanswered: What happened to the women, and can the evidence inside the house finally help establish the truth?
