Pennsylvania Mom Accused of Killing Husband and 3-Year-Old Son Made Disturbing 911 Call

A disturbing 911 call has revealed new details about a Pennsylvania mother accused of killing her husband and young son inside a family resort. When she contacted emergency services, she reportedly told the dispatcher that she needed “help dying” and that her husband and child were already dead.

Metallica Rose Harrison, 27, of Towanda, Pennsylvania, was charged with two counts of criminal homicide following the deaths of her husband, Charles Harrison, and their three-year-old son at the Great Wolf Lodge resort in the Pocono Mountains.

Police said officers responded to the family’s room on October 12, 2026, after receiving the emergency call. Inside, they discovered Charles and the child with fatal stab wounds. Harrison was also found with injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

According to court documents cited by PEOPLE, Harrison allegedly made several disturbing statements during the call, including saying she wanted to be with her husband and son. Investigators also reported finding knives inside the room.

The family had reportedly been staying at the resort before the incident. Authorities have not publicly established a motive, and the investigation remains focused on the circumstances leading up to the deaths.

Harrison is being held without bail while the case proceeds through the courts. The charges against her remain allegations unless and until they are proven in court.

The tragedy has raised heartbreaking questions about what happened inside the hotel room and what the family experienced before emergency services arrived.
