Eleven people were killed and three others injured after three armed men opened fire at a house party in KwaMakhutha, south of Durban, South Africa, police said.

The shooting happened late Tuesday night in the Ziko area of KwaMakhutha, where a group of people had gathered inside a house. Police said the attackers entered the property and opened fire before fleeing the scene.

Woman Believed to Be Pregnant Among Victims
According to South African police, 13 men and one woman were at the house when the shooting occurred.

Ten people, including a woman believed to be pregnant, died at the scene. Four others were taken to hospital, where one later died from gunshot injuries. Three survivors remained injured.

Police have not publicly identified the victims.

Three Suspects Remain at Large
Authorities have launched a manhunt for the three men believed to have carried out the attack.

No arrests had been announced when the incident was reported. Police are working to establish what led to the shooting and who was responsible.
