Christina Aguilera is bringing back a signature Y2K-era look, stepping out in Portofino, Italy, in a pair of ultra low-rise jeans that highlighted her lower back tattoo.

The 45-year-old singer was photographed on September 22 while enjoying a shopping outing with her longtime fiancé, Matthew Rutler. Aguilera wore a colorful pink, green and yellow scarf-style halter top with low-rise jeans featuring a ruched detail at the back.

She completed the throwback-inspired look with her blonde hair pulled into an effortless updo, sunglasses, a pink handbag and flip-flops.

Rutler, 41, opted for a more casual outfit, wearing a gray T-shirt, black shorts, sneakers, black socks and a crossbody bag. The couple were photographed walking around Portofino while linking arms.

The outing came a day after Aguilera and Rutler were spotted enjoying time together on the water. During the PDA-filled excursion, Rutler was seen giving Aguilera a ride as she wrapped her arms around him. The couple were also photographed sharing a kiss.

For that outing, Aguilera wore a blue bandana with a white top and matching flowy pants, while Rutler wore a blue button-down shirt with khaki pants. At one point, he removed his shirt and went for a swim.

Aguilera and Rutler first met while working on the 2010 musical film Burlesque. Aguilera starred in the movie, while Rutler worked as a production assistant.

The couple became engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2014. Aguilera announced the engagement on social media with a photo showing the pair holding hands in front of a beach while displaying her engagement ring.

Several months later, they welcomed their daughter, Summer Rain, on August 16, 2014. Aguilera also has a son, Max Liron Bratman, born in January 2008, whom she shares with her former husband, Jordan Bratman.
