28-Year-Old Man Dies After Stabbing
Police have launched a murder investigation after a 28-year-old man died following a stabbing in Clerkenwell, central London.

Officers were called to Lloyd Baker Street at around 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, following reports of a stabbing. They found a man suffering from stab wounds.

The victim was taken to hospital but died from his injuries on Thursday, September 17. Police later identified him as Reece Salmon. His family said he was a loving partner and son.

No Arrests Have Been Made
Detectives are carrying out urgent inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the attack.

As of September 19, no arrests had been made, according to the Metropolitan Police. Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could help identify those responsible to come forward.

Police Increase Patrols in the Area
Following the stabbing, police authorised a Section 60 order covering parts of Caledonian Road, Clerkenwell and Hoxton.

The order gave officers additional stop-and-search powers in response to concerns about serious violence and the potential carrying of weapons. Extra officers were also deployed in the area to reassure residents and support the investigation.

Appeal for Information
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the attack or who has relevant CCTV, doorbell or other footage to contact them.

The investigation remains ongoing.
