A Florida family is living through an agonizing wait as authorities search for a missing 17-year-old boy who disappeared after telling his mother he was going to a nearby park.

George Matthew Harper was last seen around 6 p.m. on September 28, 2026, after leaving his home in Hallandale Beach, Florida. According to police, he was heading to Ingalls Park but never returned home.
