A Vacation That Took a Tragic Turn

Mike was last known to have been in contact with others on July 18. Four days later, he failed to board his scheduled flight home to Germany, prompting concern and a search for the missing teenager.

The Attorney General’s Office subsequently stated that allegations that Mike had been murdered had no reasonable basis, according to a report published by The Malta Independent in August 2018.
