Boy Battles a Second Cancer After Surviving Neuroblastoma

Brayden Guy was just 2 when he was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, an aggressive cancer that led to surgeries, chemotherapy, and clinical trials. By age 4, his family believed he had finally made it through.

Then Brayden stopped walking, eating, and playing, while his blood counts continued to fall. Shortly before his fifth birthday, doctors diagnosed him with therapy-related acute myeloid leukemia (AML)—a second cancer linked to his previous treatment.

Brayden needed a bone marrow transplant. When his original donor became unavailable, his father became the match and donated to his son.

Brayden received the life-saving transplant in December 2024, giving him another chance to fight.
