Two More Men Charged
Two men aged 29 and 44 have been charged in connection with the death of 35-year-old William “Billy” Watson in Armadale, West Lothian, Scotland.

The two men were initially arrested as part of the investigation and have now been charged. They are due to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Monday, September 21.

Police Investigate Suspected Shooting
Emergency services were called to a property on Harestanes Road in Armadale at around 11:50 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, following reports of an injured man.

Watson was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination later confirmed that his fatal injuries were consistent with being caused by a firearm, and police began treating his death as murder.

Police have described the incident as a suspected targeted attack, while detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Watson’s death.

Third Man Already Charged
The latest charges follow the arrest and charging of a third man.

Frank McCarthy, 57, from Bathgate, appeared at Livingston Sheriff Court on September 18. He was charged with murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.

McCarthy made no plea during the private hearing and was remanded in custody. He is due to return to court within eight days.

Police Appeal for Information
Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the killing. Police previously said they were interested in two vehicles seen on Harestanes Road around the time of the incident: a blue BMW and a black Vauxhall Mokka.

Both vehicles were later recovered and are undergoing forensic examination. Officers have also appealed for CCTV, doorbell-camera and dashcam footage from the area.

Police Scotland said the investigation remains ongoing and urged anyone with information to contact detectives or Crimestoppers anonymously.
